A look at the pursuits of freedom and democracy from east to west, exploring: Venezuela’s turning cultural and economic compass, Boston/New York’s protest culture, Ukraine’s Orange Revolution and Opposition, Little Tibet and the Freedom of Returning Home, India’s Second Freedom Struggle with the Southern Farmers’ Movement, and the Peoples’ Global Action network.

Alternative and experimental social models (people based / horizontal power, grassroots initiatives, peoples’ globalization), sustainable and fair (community-based) economics, resistance art, culture, and history
