Henrik Haggstrom EducationMasters Degree in Political Science From the University of political studies in Bordeaux, France. Bachelor degree in Political Science and Economics from the University of Lund Professional BackgroundProgram Officer at the UN Office of the Special Representative on Children and Armed Conflict. Acting head of the out reach/ advocacy unit and responsible for the development of new monitoring and reporting mechanisms on violations of children in armed conflict. Program Director Save the Children Sweden in Ethiopia, responsible for programs on refugee children, Internally displaced children and child soldiers, in addition to programs on Education and HIV/Aids. Head of Advocacy - Save the Children Sweden, Stockholm. Chair of the International Save the Children Alliance joint advocacy Group in London. Responsible for the strategic promotion of child Rights policy issues within the UN system and other regional government Organizations. Project Manager, Child soldiers project. Responsible for DDR programs in east and West Africa and for the lobbying of the UN CRC optional protocol on children in armed conflict. Founder and steering committee member of the Internal Coalition to Stop the Use of Child Soldiers.- Consultant working for YMCA and the Norwegian Association for Disabled in the West bank and Gaza.
